Dear reader, if I dazzle you with that silver will you forgive my absence? My cat has been sick, and he takes every priority. It can be hard to give a cat a pill and not dent your manicure too! My Smudge is getting better, and is now on a long-term medication for his stress (which is manifesting physically), so hopefully there will be no more frantic weekend trips to the vet any time soon! I know you’re here for the nails, so check out what I used after the break. :)

It is a warm-shifting thermally activated nail polish that is bright lime green when cold, and a silvery olive green when warm. There’s a week scattered holo to add some sparkle, and I was utterly smitten with this manicure. See more pictures and my usual lengthy explanations after the break.
Thursday was Sandra’s birthday, so of course I did her nails in a celebratory style. We couldn’t find a birthday cake plate in my entire collection, so we went with multi-coloured cupcakes instead. Of course, the day after we painted these, I found my birthday cake plate. Go figure. See all the fabulous colours we used and more pictures after the break.
