justifying all this nail polish
I meant to get this post out last week, but that pink shirt thwarted my plans by reflecting in half of my swatches, so I had to retake them. I actually picked up two more from this collection in the meantime, and discovered that they are on clearance at my local Sally Beauty, so if you’ve had your eye on something you might want to go see if you can grab it before they disappear. I was going to show some China Glaze today, but then I realized that my hot pink shirt was reflecting in a bunch of the nails, making it look like everything had terrible bald spots at the cuticle. Apparently I need to go buy some more black shirts for blogging in! Conveniently, I had some swatches sitting around waiting for their turn, and I threw them all together for your viewing pleasure. Last week, everyone in my house was entirely too sick to subject Sandra to coming over to get her nails done. Even our cat was sick, and Sandra gloriously helped me with transporting her to and from the vet and picking meds for her and so on. Stuff like that is why I do her nails for her. This week, we wanted to do something Halloween appropriate, and decided on something alittle more subtle than she usually goes for. See more after the break.
Due to everyone in my house being sick, I don’t have a friend’s manicure this week. Instead, I’ve finished up the two remaining swatched from Wednesday’s Julep haul for Marjorie and Shailene.
