justifying all this nail polish
This is the manicure I wore this weekend on my trip to Napa. My husband’s team at work was being well rewarded for hitting a hard deadline, and we got a little getaway. It was a very lovely little trip, and I was very appreciative. Keep reading for more details on the mani.

I’m gonna come right out and say it: I love this manicure. I am so pleased that I have all my swatching done for the next week because it means I can wear this manicure until it chips (and usually I’m itching to take manicures off but figure I need to wear them for a couple days at least to make the effort worth it). Early this morning, the moon reached its first perigee for the month, meaning it’s the closest to earth in its orbit. This leads to higher than average tides, and since I was completely stumped for nail art ideas for the week between Halloween and Remembrance Day, I settled on doing tidal based art.
