Nail Art: Perigean Tides Day
Early this morning, the moon reached its first perigee for the month, meaning it’s the closest to earth in its orbit. This leads to higher than average tides, and since I was completely stumped for nail art ideas for the week between Halloween and Remembrance Day, I settled on doing tidal based art. Friend’s Fingers Friday – Halloween Bead Stamping
Last week, everyone in my house was entirely too sick to subject Sandra to coming over to get her nails done. Even our cat was sick, and Sandra gloriously helped me with transporting her to and from the vet and picking meds for her and so on. Stuff like that is why I do her nails for her. This week, we wanted to do something Halloween appropriate, and decided on something alittle more subtle than she usually goes for. See more after the break.
KISS Nail Dress
On the weekend, I decided to try KISS Nail Dress nail strips for the first time, to prepare for my apartment complex’s Halloween gathering, which I never actually ended up going to. This pack, which I completely forgot to take pictures of, contains 32 strips in 8 sizes with cats and stars and moons on them, in alternating colours of orange and black.
