justifying all this nail polish
I meant to get this post out last week, but that pink shirt thwarted my plans by reflecting in half of my swatches, so I had to retake them. I actually picked up two more from this collection in the meantime, and discovered that they are on clearance at my local Sally Beauty, so if you’ve had your eye on something you might want to go see if you can grab it before they disappear. Early this morning, the moon reached its first perigee for the month, meaning it’s the closest to earth in its orbit. This leads to higher than average tides, and since I was completely stumped for nail art ideas for the week between Halloween and Remembrance Day, I settled on doing tidal based art. Last week, everyone in my house was entirely too sick to subject Sandra to coming over to get her nails done. Even our cat was sick, and Sandra gloriously helped me with transporting her to and from the vet and picking meds for her and so on. Stuff like that is why I do her nails for her. This week, we wanted to do something Halloween appropriate, and decided on something alittle more subtle than she usually goes for. See more after the break.
