I’m really excited to share my first product sent for review today. It’s the Clear Jelly Stamper set from Born Pretty Store. I’ve got two manicures to show you that I made with this stamper set. Read on to find out what I thought, and for a discount code at the end.
Love Song challenge mani
At the end of January, I joined a challenge group called Nail Crazies Unite. Week one only got posted to my Instagram and the Facebook group, but this week I am on top of things enough to get Week Two – Love Song up before the deadline. I had a pretty spectacular fail with my first attempt at a love song manicure, which involved double stamping over the red textured polish you see in this manicure, and you can see that on Instagram as well, but let us never speak of it again. Take a peek after the jump to see what finally worked for me. Continue Reading
Friend’s Fingers Monday? – Candy Cane Shimmer
With all of the holiday prep and spending a week being sick in bed (but apparently noncontagious?), the blog has fallen a little behind. Sandra and I are still meeting for nails once a week though, and she gets to listen to me moan about how terrible I feel, and then I paint her nails anyway. It works out. Anyway, before we met last week, I’d been sending her piles of Pinterest pictures of Christmas nail art, and she fell in love with the candy cane look. I dug through my stamping plates for this image I knew I had somewhere, and I pulled it out before she got here.
Cute glitter cupcakes – Friends Fingers Friday
I must apologize for the random silences around here lately. My life in a minor state of upheaval, and I don’t have a sufficient buffer to have the blog trundle along as if nothing is happening behind the scenes. It’s mostly good, but it certainly is taking up some time.
Aside from that though, today I have some cute cupcakes from my new stamping plates, and a wee bit of glitter on Sandra’s nails. Sandra’s had a bit of breakage lately, and I keep harassing her to moisturize more, but it’s an uphill battle. I know she;s working on it though. See more after the break.
